Booking Policies — Please Read Before Booking 1. Appointments All online bookings are appointment requests. Your appointment is not confirmed until the required deposit is paid and you receive confirmation from Cavalry Notary Services. If your requested time is unavailable, an alternate time may be offered. 2. Deposits A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be applied toward your final service invoice. 3. Late Arrivals & No-Shows A 10-minute grace period is allowed. After 10 minutes, wait-time fees may apply or the appointment may be cancelled. Failure to arrive or communicate with us is considered a no-show. Your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit may be required to rebook. 4. Rescheduling You may reschedule once using the same deposit with at least 3 hours' notice, subject to availability. Requests made less than 3 hours before the appointment may require a new deposit. 5. Cancellations & Refunds Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 3 hours before the appointment are considered late cancellations. Payments beyond the deposit will be reviewed for refund eligibility on a case-by-case basis. 6. Remote Online Notarization (RON) RON clients must upload required documents and satisfy all identification and platform requirements. If these requirements cannot be met, the notarization cannot proceed and the deposit may be forfeited. Services may be declined or discontinued when legally required or appropriate, including insufficient identification, incomplete documents, signer unwillingness or inability to proceed, or reasonable concerns of fraud. 7. Travel & Additional Fees Travel fees are separate from notarization fees, must be agreed upon in advance, and are limited to Broward County. After-hours, weekend, and holiday appointments may incur an additional surcharge starting at $25. Exceptions may be considered for verified emergencies or errors caused by Cavalry Notary Services. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.
